Ballet
In these classes, dancers are taught the basics of dance
through a traditional ballet barre, center floor,
traveling exercises and combinations. Ballet helps to build strong, flexible
bodies, mentally stimulating, and is the basis for all dance technique. *(Pointe and Pre-Pointe classes are twice a week classes for the Intermediate and Advanced levels with teacher permission
required).
Jazz
From beginning to advance levels, the dancer will learn
how to stretch and strengthen their muscles by an extensive warm-up including
turn, kick, and leap across the floor combinations. They will learn different
styles and techniques through fun center floor combinations.
Tap
These classes will help the dancer learn how to use
their feet as an instrument. These exciting classes include a warm-up, across
the floor and center combinations. Tap develops agility of legs and feet, sense
of rhythm, mental-physical coordination, and a power of concentration.
Technique
In this class dancers can strengthen their skill level
and improve their dance technique. It's a non-performing class, so time is
spent on improving dance skills rather than learning choreography. It is
recommended for intermediate and advanced level dancers.
Gymnastics and Tumbling
In gymnastics students will graduate from basic tumbling
(cartwheels, forward rolls, etc.) to more advanced
tricks (back handspring, walk-over, ariel, etc.). See
Gymnastics
Levels page for placement.
Cheer
Cheer classes will consist of stunts, cheer and dance
routines. An additional tumbling or gymnastics class is recommended.
3 Year Old & Pre-School Ballet/Jazz
Sets the beginning for a foundation in dance, physical
activities and school readiness, provides experience in song and dance, rhythm,
coordination, loco motor skills and social skills as in taking turns. Research
shows that such skills are an essential part of early development and their
mastery can be a significant advantage when entering school.
Performance TEAM
PETITE TEAM
was created to provide younger, talented dancers with more performing
experience, in primarily local venues such as ball games, retirement centers,
shopping centers and parades.
JR. & SR. TEAMS-
Our older performance TEAMS are for dancers who "live, eat, drink and breathe"
dance; who hold dance as their most important extra-curricular activity. See performance team

Mommy & Me
The Mommy & Me Workout! program was designed for moms wanting to spend quality time with their child while instilling the importance of healthy exercise and a love for music and dance. The program is focused on movement, coordination, balance, rhythm, stretching, and basic kinetic skills for your little one. The class is set to music and will feature basic dance steps in ballet, jazz, and tap. Yoga-style acrobatics are incorporated into the curriculum to help with flexibility and an increased range of motion. Parents focus on sculpting, strengthening, and elongating their muscles to form the long lines of a dancer. This is perfect for moms wanting to increase their metabolism or work off some of the extra weight put on from pregnancy.
